Consulting Division — A WFS Company

Water Filtration Consultants (WFC)

WFC is the consulting and capability-building entity under Water Filtration Solutions. Where WFS designs, fabricates, and operates equipment, WFC advises owners, operators, and investors — from a single application study to building an entire water-treatment company from the ground up. The two entities operate independently so clients can engage WFC for objective advice without any equipment-sales obligation.

What We Do

A Full Spectrum of Consulting Services

WFC engagements span the entire lifecycle of a water-treatment program — from the first characterization sample to running a fully-staffed operations department or commissioning an entire greenfield company.

Application Assessment & Feasibility

Independent review of your water challenge — contaminants, flow regime, regulatory targets, and economic envelope — leading to a defensible technology selection.

Water Characterization

Detailed historic data and process review, understanding contaminants physical, chemical and biological in nature. Projecting the characteristics of the mixture and forming basis of water treatment technologies.

Lab Analysis

Full chemistry workups — TSS, O&G, TOC, COD, BOD, TDS, ammonia, sulfides, heavy metals, and VOC/S-VOC — performed in-house and through certified partner labs to underpin process design.

R&D Team Optimization

Developing R&D programs and improving existing R&D initiatives. Review existing practices, set-up, equipment, data collection to develop innovative products, customised solutions to applications, improving IP standing, stage-gate process, lab capability gaps, KPIs, IP strategy, and partnerships with universities and OEMs.

Product Development

End-to-end leadership from concept through ideation, design and development of prototype, pilot, field trial, and commercial launch — including BOM, costing, manufacturability, and certification roadmap. Building a complete product line from innovations from R&D team.

Operations Department Setup & Management

Design and run operations teams: Framework for O&M business, manpower management, training, customer management, contract negotiations, SOPs, HSE, maintenance regimes, spares strategy, SCADA/data, KPI dashboards, and 24/7 field support models. AI driven data collection and control strategy.

Technical Manpower Training

Structured training for process, operations, chemical, mechanical, and environmental engineers — classroom, simulator, and hands-on commissioning rotations.

Company Setup & Build-from-Scratch

Greenfield org design: legal entity, engineering disciplines, supply chain, fabrication footprint, QA/QMS, sales channels, and go-to-market for water-treatment ventures.

Embedded Fractional Leadership

Senior WFC consultants step in as fractional VP-Engineering, VP-Operations, or CTO until your permanent team is hired, trained, and producing.

How We Engage

Three Ways to Work with WFC

Short-Term Advisory

2–12 week scoped engagements: technology selection, due diligence, expert testimony, audit, or a focused R&D unblocking sprint.

Embedded Fractional Team

Multi-quarter engagements where WFC personnel sit inside your organization — leading projects, mentoring staff, and transferring capability.

Full Build-Out

Multi-year mandates to build a water-treatment division or company from the ground up — people, process, plant, and product line.

Disciplines Covered

Cross-Disciplinary Engineering Bench

WFC consultants are senior practitioners in chemical, process, mechanical, environmental, instrumentation, and operations engineering — many with 20+ years building, running, and optimizing water-treatment facilities across oil & gas, refining, petrochemicals, power, and municipal sectors.

Independence by Design

WFC is structured as a separate entity from WFS so that recommendations are never constrained by an equipment-sales obligation. Clients can engage WFC for unbiased feasibility, due-diligence, or expert-witness work — and remain free to procure equipment from any supplier, including WFS, on competitive terms.

Engage WFC
