🔧 Midstream Oil & Gas
Midstream Pipeline & Processing Applications
From pipeline hydrostatic test water to gas plant condensate and compressor station drainage — WFS provides complete water management for midstream infrastructure.
Sector Overview
Complete water management for midstream infrastructure
Pipelines, compressor stations, gas plants and fractionators each produce intermittent but challenging water volumes — hydrostatic test water, pigging effluent, condensate, NGL by-product water and drainage that must be treated before reuse or discharge.
WFS deploys mobile and modular systems sized for short campaigns or continuous service, with the engineering and field crews to commission and operate.
midstream service categories
- Hydrostatic test water
- Gas plant condensate
- Compressor station drainage
- NGL fractionation by-product water
- Pigging effluent
Typical midstream streams
| Stream | Key contaminants |
|---|---|
| Hydrotest water | TSS, hydrocarbons, biocides |
| Gas condensate | BTEX, methanol, glycols |
| Pigging effluent | Wax, sludge, hydrocarbons |
| Compressor drainage | Lube oil, glycol, solids |
| NGL water | Methanol, amines, salts |

Pipeline Hydrostatic Test Water
Treat, manage, and dispose hundreds of thousands to millions of gallons of test water per ASME B31.4/B31.8 — including pipeline dewatering and drying.

Gas Processing Condensate Water
Removal of hydrocarbons, BTEX, H₂S, amine carryover, and heavy metals from gas plant condensate and amine regen wastewater.
View application
Compressor Station Water Management
Oil/water separation, glycol recovery, closed-loop cooling treatment, and stormwater containment for natural gas compressor stations.
View application
NGL Fractionation Process Water
Treatment of caustic wash blowdown (pH 12–14), high BOD/COD, sulfide, and mercaptan contamination from NGL deethanizers, depropanizers, and debutanizers.
