Overview

Treat, manage, and dispose hundreds of thousands to millions of gallons of test water per ASME B31.4/B31.8 — including pipeline dewatering and drying.

02

Challenge

Before commissioning, new pipelines and pressure vessels must be hydrostatically tested with large volumes of water (hundreds of thousands to millions of gallons) pressurized to 1.1–1.5x design operating pressure. Test water must meet strict quality specifications to prevent corrosion and contamination of the asset, and disposal or recycling of test water must comply with local regulations.

WFS Solution

WFS provides complete pipeline hydrostatic test water management: treatment of source water to testing specification (low chloride, inhibited, pH-controlled), water tracking and management during the test, post-test water disposal or recycling, and pipeline dewatering and drying services using mobile treatment and disposal units.

Technologies Applied

  • Source Water Treatment
  • Corrosion Inhibitor Dosing
  • Biocide Treatment
  • Mobile Filtration Units
  • pH Control Systems
  • Dewatering & Drying
04

Outcomes

  • Test water quality per ASME B31.4 / B31.8
  • Zero corrosion product contamination
  • 100% regulatory-compliant disposal or reuse
  • Rapid mobilization within 48–72 hours
