Rectangular Gravity Oil-Water Separator with Corrugated Plate Pack

WFS's proprietary API/CPI separator is a rectangular gravity oil-water separator combining the classic API geometry with a high-efficiency corrugated plate interceptor (CPI) pack. The plate pack increases the effective settling area by 5–10× without enlarging the vessel footprint — driving outlet oil-in-water below 50 mg/L on most produced and process water streams.
Internals include an inlet diffuser/distributor, the corrugated plate pack, a rotating-drum or belt-type surface oil skimmer, an adjustable underflow weir, a v-shaped sludge hopper with sloped floor for solids consolidation, and dedicated drains for both sludge and skimmed oil. Recovered oil flows by gravity to an integrated skim tank for batch dewatering or transfer to slop.
Standard MOC is carbon steel with internal coating or 304/316L stainless. The separator is offered as a stand-alone vessel or as a fully piped, instrumented, and walkway-equipped skid up to 500 m³/hr capacity.
