💧 AquaClear™ DAF System
Dissolved Air Flotation for Produced & Refinery Water
AquaClear™ DAF systems remove dispersed oil, suspended solids, and biological material from produced water and refinery process streams. Micro-bubble generation through a recycled-flow saturation vessel produces 30–50 µm bubbles that attach to coagulated solids and float them to the surface.
Coagulant and flocculant dosing trains are integrated upstream of the flash mix chamber, with pH adjustment and antifoam injection as optional add-ons. A chain-and-flight or rotating skimmer removes the float layer to a sludge thickener; clarified water exits the cell underflow for downstream filtration.
Compact rectangular and circular configurations are available — the rectangular cell minimizes residence time while the circular variant offers superior solids removal for high-foulant streams such as DAF on refinery API separator effluent.
