Bag filtration is the workhorse pre-filtration stage upstream of cartridge filters, membranes, and ion exchange. WFS supplies single-bag and multi-bag stainless steel housings with swing-bolt or eyebolt closure, mounted as a skid with isolation valves, vent/drain, and differential pressure instrumentation.
Filter bags are offered in five materials — polypropylene (PP), polyester (PE), nylon, Nomex (high-temperature), and PTFE (chemical resistant) — and in four standard sizes (#1, #2, #3, #4) with micron ratings from 1 µm to 200 µm. Felt construction provides depth filtration with high solids holding capacity; mesh bags are used where solids must be recovered.
Skid-mounted multi-bag arrays are sized to 100 m³/hr in a single skid (6–12 vessels in parallel), with bag-change isolation so the system stays online during media changeouts.
